Songwriting Workshop Part 1 - with Katherine Muñoz

In this course we will be taking a creative and interactive approach to surveying the 3 pillars of songwriting: melody, harmony and lyric. Each section will include an expanded learning guide featuring video links, and other resources that will allow you to dive deeper into your areas of interest. We will discuss different creative writing techniques and perform writing exercises to strengthen your writing craft and build better lyrics. By the end of the course you will have a strong understanding of commercial song structure, have access to a host of songwriting resources, and have completed and demoed 1 original song.

Requirements:

Age at least 12 years old

Good English knowledge
